Mr. Riley joined Best Practices Insurance Services, LLC in January 2008. He brings 24 years of insurance experience and six years of insurance company management experience to the Best Practices team. His career began as an underwriter for AVEMCO Insurance company1984. For the last 18 years, he worked in various roles at Marsh, a global insurance brokerage firm, holding the title of Managing Director. Mr. Riley managed a medical liability insurance company outsourcing business for Marsh before joining Best Practices. This business deployed 45 professionals in the service of over a dozen medical liability insurers across the country. His responsibilities included recruiting and talent management, process development, technology and other matters related to insurance companies operations. His career at Marsh also included office and sales management positions. His responsibilities at Best Practices will include operational oversight, budget management, agency relation, client management, and business development.

Mr. Riley received his B.S. degree from The Ohio State University in 1982. He holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Risk Management designations from the Insurance Institute of America. He has held leadership positions in several charitable and professional organizations.
